1.      Edge-to-Edge Infinity Display:

This feature is same as IPhone 8, S8 and S8 Plus, This display gives the resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels (~521 ppi pixel density) with size of 6.3 inches (~83.2% screen-to-body ratio), this display equals the size of the Galaxy Mega from way back in 2013.In Galaxy Note 8, Samsung named it ‘Infinity Display’, and it is the biggest display in Samsung phones yet.

2.       Dual Lens Camera Introduced:

Samsung have a mind setup to introduce the dual lens camera in smartphone, but it’s not good enough to do it back then, now Samsung have finally introduced this feature in Galaxy Note 8.It is said to be first setup to which comes with optical image stabilization on both the sensors at the back, calling it 'Live Focus'. This camera includes a depth-of-field Bokeh with Portrait Mode, it means you can take those blurry background selfies, and you can adjust the density of blur before and after taking photo with your likings.

3.       App Pairing (Advance Multi-Window):

The App Pairing is just like Multi window option which is available in many other smart phones but Samsung has introduced it with an advance feature of launching two app at a time simultaneously from tapping of a shortcut icon in Galaxy Note 8, the shortcut can be placed on home screen or in main menu. For Example: you can make a pair of YouTube and Facebook Messenger and Gmail or Whatsapp, or you can make any combination. It will help many peoples to work faster and more accurately.

4.      Live Messaging with S Pen:

‘S Pen’ the main feature of Note series, is now offering to send GIF messages to your loved one without any problem. Let me get straight to this, as everyone knows this function allow you to write notes with your hand writing but the main problem of this feature was that we cannot send it to any other app, as the other app will not support it, now it is possible because when will you write something on it, it will work as an GIF maker and convert your note into a GIF file, plus you can add animation and effect on it which will work in any smartphone.

There is another feature of this app which is to write on the lock screen and save it as note or reminder without opening any app, this can be done without touching the screen or pressing any button. This is not finished yet, there is a live translator function placed in it, just by hovering S pen above the screen, it will translate any foreign language into your smartphone default language, and same goes for currency conversion.

5.       Increase in RAM to 6GB:

While the other companies offers 6GB and even 8GB RAM, Samsung has maintained their standard with 4GB RAM in Galaxy S8, I know that it raises a question that Samsung have made smartphone with even 6GB RAM but if take a close look then you’ll understand that they are only produced with increased RAM in Asian markets to compete with their rivals. Now in Galaxy Note 8 is available with 6GB RAM all over the world, allowing their users to use more apps at a time without lagging or errors and live with the capabilities, something that the Galaxy Note series is known for.

6.      Featuring Bluetooth 5:

Finally Galaxy Note 8 supports the latest version of Bluetooth, comes with many improvements, it is twice faster than Bluetooth 4.2 LE, and its range is increased quadrupled from earlier versions. The plus point of all these feature is that it will work with even low energy mode. This addition will really elevate your accessory usage experience with the Galaxy Note 8.

7.      Introduction of DeX Galaxy Note 8:

The DeX is used to make a single device work as both your mobile and desktop or laptop. Now this feature is available in Galaxy Note 8, with it you can use your Note 8 as a Laptop or Desktop via DeX cable, the only thing you have to do is to connect the DeX HDMI port with your monitor, attach a wireless mouse and keyboard to your mobile and you’re ready to use you’re mobile as PC. This idea is used by many other companies like Microsoft and Motorola but no one is able to get success, now we have to see what Samsung can do.

8.      Bixby (Samsung’s Siri):

The same features as Galaxy S8, Samsung have placed a button to activate Bixby in Note 8. I think some people will ask that why I have said it “Samsung’s Siri”, because it’s similar to IPhone’s Siri, It supports 200 countries all over the world and the company promises to make to more useful and evolve the assistant, in my opinion it is not that much new as IPhone is using this feature from many years.

9.      Specs of Galaxy Note 8:

The Note 8 uses 3300mAh battery to give a powerful backup of Music play of 74 hours and 22 hours of talk time on 3G, using the Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Chipset Exynos 8895 Octa – EMEA Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 for USA & China.

The First Generation of Computer

The history of computing hardware covers the developments from simple devices to aid calculation, to mechanical calculators, punched card data processing and on to modern stored-program computers . Before the 20th century, most calculations were done by humans. Early mechanical tools to help humans with digital calculations were called "calculating machines", by proprietary names, or even as they are now, calculators . The machine operator was called the computer. The first aids to computation were purely mechanical devices which required the operator to set up the initial values of an elementary arithmetic operation, then manipulate the device to obtain the result. The slide rule and, later, analog computers represented numbers in a continuous form, for instance distance along a scale, rotation of a shaft, or a voltage. Numbers could also be represented in the form of digits, automatically manipulated by a mechanical mechanism. Although this approach generall...

About Write Only Memory

In information technology, a write-only memory ( WOM ) is a memory location or register that can be written to but not read. In addition to its literal meaning, the term may be applied to a situation when the data written by one circuit can be read only by other circuitry. The most common occurrence of the latter situation is when a processor writes data to a write-only register of hardware the processor is controlling. The hardware can read the instruction but the processor cannot. This can lead to problems in producing device drivers for the hardware. Write-only memories also find applications in security and cryptography as a means of preventing data being intercepted as it is being decrypted. Hardware uses In 1972, WOM, an antithesis of read-only memory (ROM), was introduced as an inside practical joke perpetrated by Signetics. [ 1 ] However it was soon recognized that this concept actually describes certain functionalities in microprocessor systems. [ 2 ] The...
